Every donation from the Moove Season 5 week of August 2nd will help make recovery possible for more than 200 members of our community who demonstrate courage by going to Shore House, not only for themselves, but for one another - and they do this in spite of the stigma and constant daily struggle.

Shore House evidenced-based programs are one of the most cost effective solutions to the mental health crisis. At Shore House we help members gain employment thus reducing poverty. 70% of Shore House members are employed compared to 30 - 40 % among their peers. The hospital readmission rates of Shore House members is 4% while it is 50% among their peers. The cost per day per Member at Shore House is $46.34, a fraction of the cost of hospitalization at $1,500 per day -- significantly reducing taxpayer burden.
