Join our staff and board team from July 18th at 9am until 9am August 12th, 2021 as we along with all our community partners help under-served youth, families and schools in the San Gabriel Valley not only survive but thrive!
Catalyst SGV serves youth, families and schools in three main programs:
1. HOPE (HOmeless & Parent Engagement): We provide intensive case management, helping families considered homeless by school districts not only connect with local services, but also providing customized direct support through housing support, food, clothing, school supplies, and parenting workshops and life skills support groups.
We also piloted this year a long term "Journeying Together" with a family matched to a local congregation.
2. Healthy Relationship Curriculum (12-18 years old): We teach evidence based curriculum for teens on positive youth development, healthy relationships, life skills and avoiding dating violence and teen pregnancy.
3. Adopt a School: We serve underserved schools through backpacks, food and supply drives, volunteers and hosts for school events, social emotional support groups for students, and garden programs.
