Now we have the chance to redefine stress recovery.

I sit on the floor, eyes closed, head against the wall; the kids are screaming at each other for the millionth time today and any second, angry little feet will come looking for me. My phone is on silent because if I hear the ping of one more email I might scream as loudly as the kids. The never ending "To Do" list tugs at the corner of my thoughts, competing with the tension in my head. neck and back. I wish I could step away for a moment, just one second to breathe and re-calibrate!

Over the past six years, I have been researching and refining the idea of a Stress Recovery Center and I am finally on the brink of bringing it to life. Step aside with me into THE ENCLAVE Stress Recovery Center, where counseling, yoga/meditation, a retreat center and a day spa are rolled into one and dipped in technology.

Walk down the halls and experience the indoor ocean room - complete with heated sand and interactive virtual reality; the candle-lit Chapel, the garden coffee shop, a lawn labyrinth, an indoor rain forest, the Happy Room, private counseling suites and other open spaces. All carefully curated so you can step away from the hustle and bustle of the city, into peaceful relaxation in an instant.

The Enclave will be an oasis from modern-day stressors. It will be a stress recovery facility with a network of programs, resources and recovery spaces to unwind, realign and recover. It will be unique in that it combines the services of a counseling center, a yoga/meditation studio, a retreat center and a day spa. It will also boast gardens, a labyrinth, a live indoor rain forest, an ocean room complete with sand-covered floor, and other open spaces that allow the individual to step away from the city and into natural relaxation. There will also be the option to relax in a fully immersive virtual reality (FIVR) experience of your choice. The Enclave FIVR suite will build on existing technology to create fully immersive virtual experiences. The 360-degree FIVR experience lets you fully disconnect from daily stressors as part of mental health and stress recovery treatment. 

Much like a gym, the Enclave facility will be available for individuals to use but will also be available for rental by savvy wellness therapists and instructors who are looking to have their practice standout in a crowded marketplace. The facility will operate similarly to a city-run recreational center with free access to some services. Other wellness programs can be accessed for a nominal fee. The funding from this campaign will allow us to acquire the necessary equipment, renovate an appropriate space and guide 300 individuals through the full stress recovery program for 1 year.
