YOUR SUPPORT CHANGES LIVES - 1 DOG AT A TIME.

Our applicants are waiting over 2 years for a free, highly trained service dog. Moving into a dedicated Training Center will help us train more dogs, and will shorten our wait time.

We've set a goal of raising $50,000 in this campaign, noon Aug 9-noon, Aug 13, 2021. We'll need at least that much for renovations to our center building once we move in.  Even a $5 donation from you will help! Your donating today matters!!!!!

Here's one of our dogs, changing lives. Before Cary, Jake who is hearing impaired, was unhappy, acting out, and not doing well in school. It was a difficult time for both Jake and his family. Then we placed Cary with Jake. Cary is Jake's set of ears, alerting him to his world around him. He's Jake's devoted, best friend - his ever present helpmate. Now Jake is happy, productive, and doing well in school. With Cary at his side, Jake confidently explores his community - walking ahead of his parents at a busy Home Depot store, even eating by himself at a restaurant when social distancing required it.

With your support, we will be able to train more dogs.

Here's the opportunities this Gannett Foundation Community Thrives Campaign provides for us to raise funds:

(All donations must be made ONLY through MightyCause (Donate here only) to be counted in this campaign):

1. $50,000 (our goal) raised funds. We have a $25,000 donation pledged already. $15,000 of that has already been donated. We will receive 100% of all funds we raise.

2. $4,000 MOST DONORS Incentive grant. A contest for the most donors who donate between August 9 noon-August 13th, 2021 noon. A $5 DONATION COUNTS! We need at least 900 donors to win this contest! Please donate today, HERE!
For this contest, each donation needs a unique name and email address attached to it, with the donor the same name as on the credit card used to make the donation.

 3. $25K, $15K, or $10K MOST DONATIONS Incentive grants. A contest for the most donations made. We need at least $50,000 raised noon Aug 9-noon Aug 13, 2021 to win this contest, even 3rd place - $10K.  Please donate today, HERE!

Why your donation matters. Your support will change lives - 1 dog at a time.

Shortly after Benji was placed with Ann Marie, she sent us a hand drawn greeting card, "Benji makes my heart smile".
Her spine is rigid; she can't even look down. She has no peripheral vision. With Benji at her side, helping her navigate, she has the confidence to leave her home to shop, see friends, even sight see. If she drops something, Benji retrieves it. She recently sent us this greeting card, featuring her drawing of beloved Benji on the cover.

Because of your support, we can place one of our free, highly trained service dogs with a carefully matched recipient. The whole household is happier. Our dog is not only a service dog, with their high level of obedience and their ability to assist their person. Our dog also brings a very loving, very lovable, doggie essence. That makes all the difference!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP!

Putnam Service Dogs' Mission Statement: Our service dogs change lives. We champion the nurturing bond between dogs and humans.

We provide free service dogs to people with physical disabilities other than blindness. We train carefully selected, mixed breed pups from rescue organizations as our service dogs.
