I am a heart patient and caregiver, and am humbled and honored to be the President of The Mended Hearts, Inc. I have committed to helping advance the mission of the organization through this fundraising challenge. The Mended Hearts, Inc. has been inspiring hope and improving the lives of heart patients and their families for 70 years. This year we are striving to reach underserved communities to assure that our peer-to-peer support, education, and advocacy is available to everyone!
Peer-to-peer support is so important. It gives hope and inspiration to patients and families who are on their heart journey. My commitment to The Mended Hearts, Inc. and its mission is how I have chosen to “pay it forward” in gratitude for my gift of life, a heart transplant.
