Howler Monkey
Artist: Jacob Hillsdon
Inspiration: I've had the privilege of working with Toucan Rescue Ranch to release a sloth and a macaw, and on that same trip, we stumbled across a howler monkey with its troop. Getting to film them in the wild and now capture one in this way felt like incredible.

Donde nace la vida
Artist: Ignacio Campos Retana

Creatives for Conservation
Artist: Luisa Vidales Reina
Inspiration: As a creative, I love to take the responsibility to use my skillset towards projects for conservation. Whether it’s by doing a social media campaign, an illustrated book, or the visual identity for an NGO, it’s one of my pillars. This drawing is my take on being a creative at the service of conservation: speaking about it, transmitting the message. It's specifically done on re-purposed paper from a packaging.

New Name. Same Mission. More Wildlife Saved.
For five years, photographers, artists, nature lovers, and wildlife supporters from around the world have come together for one purpose: to give Costa Rica’s wildlife a second chance.
What began as #TRRShareYourShot, #CallforArtists, and #TunesforToucans has grown into something even bigger. Today, we proudly introduce a new name that reflects the true heart of this initiative:
Share to Save
Because every piece of art shared, every story told, and every person inspired can help save a life.
Over the years, this arts contest has helped Toucan Rescue Ranch strengthen our Rescue Center, Sanctuary, and Release Site — supporting the spaces where rescued wildlife can recover, rehabilitate, and prepare for their return to the forest.
At Toucan Rescue Ranch, we believe art is more than creativity — it is a bridge between people and wildlife.
This year, every dollar raised through Share to Save will go directly toward the operational costs that allow Toucan Rescue Ranch to continue rescuing and caring for wildlife.
These funds help cover the daily expenses required to run our Rescue Center and Sanctuary, including food, medications, rehabilitation care, enclosure maintenance, veterinary supplies, and the specialized resources animals need during the entire time they remain under our protection.
Attention Creatives — This Is for You!
Your art can do more than inspire.
Support wildlife rehabilitation from anywhere in the world by sharing your creativity. Submit your art, photography, designs, or any creative piece inspired by wildlife and conservation, and help raise awareness for the animals that need it most.
Why Your Support Matters
At Toucan Rescue Ranch, it costs over $50,000 each month to provide food, medical care, and safe rehabilitation for the wildlife that arrives at our doors.
We know this is a big challenge. But if together we can raise $10,000, it will make an immediate difference for the animals currently in our care.
Unlike many institutions, we do not receive financial subsidies from the government. Our work is made possible entirely through donations, supporters, and initiatives like this contest.
Your participation helps ensure that injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife receive the care they need — and the opportunity to return to the forests where they belong.
Our mission goes beyond helping animals survive.
It is about healing them, strengthening them, and giving them a real second chance in the wild.
