$3,000 goal

Since September of 2018, we have asked you to join us on the mission of raising the next generation of service-minded leaders. Thanks to your belief in our work and your generous giving we are doing just that:

We have hosted more than 40 Guest Speakers: police chiefs, lieutenants, founders, pediatricians, counselors, neurosurgeons, attorneys, authors, business executives, musicians, CEOs, entrepreneurs, psychotherapists, missionaries, scientists, artists, and so many more professionals to speak to our community of young students.

We have invested over 215 hours educating, empowering, and equipping our students through the avenues of dance, music, discipleship, teen discussions, skills and drills in basketball, entrepreneurial and educational workshops, personal growth, leadership, and development classes.

Through the power of service and volunteerism, our dedicated staff and committed board members have put in hundreds of hours that have yielded a 300% increase in enrollments—serving four times more the number of students we welcomed into our program when we first opened our doors in September of 2018.

At our Annual Youth Leadership Awards Ceremony (THE BUFORD HARVEST), JosiahKids has had the absolute pleasure of recognizing 28 different honorees from all around the globe for outstanding achievements in the categories of: servant leadership, innovation, community involvement, athletics, courage, passion, and various genres of the arts.

And because service is at the core of our mission, JosiahKids has continued to prioritize annual community service events for our students and their families. We have served the Duluth Co-op, through student led neighborhood food drives, also—raking, mopping, painting, planting, sorting, wiping, vacuuming, hauling, dusting—so beautifully serving an organization that serves the needs of our community all year round.

Scaling our nonprofit for us means setting the stage to enable and support growth. It means having the ability to grow without hinderance. It requires planning, funding the right systems, hiring and retaining high caliber staff, improving our processes, investing in technology, and building the right partnerships.

As we look to the future, we have a few specific goals in mind that this grant will help us achieve:

(a) Successfully scaling and growing the organization calls for a need to seed a full-time paid Executive Director to run JosiahKids.

(b) A bigger location will help us separate our Upper School Students (Middle/High School Students) from our Lower School Students (Elementary Students).

(b) Adequate space will help us fully implement our performing arts and sports programs, giving more scheduling flexibility including classes in the summer.

(c) This project will help us take our annual enrollment from 40 to 80, and fund the purchase of desks/tables, chairs, classroom capital, music, and sports equipment to successfully achieve our intended outcomes of adequately equipping our next generation of world changers.

We would be deeply honored to have your support!
