Parkinson Place celebrates 8 years of helping people with Parkinson’s disease. We’ve been THE destination for those living with Parkinson’s disease on Florida’s Suncoast.

Like you, Parkinson Place has been watching with concern as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread throughout the country. Now, our 11,000 square foot building stands empty, in the name of safety, but the mission to connect the Parkinson’s community is stronger than ever.

For those living with Parkinson’s disease, every activity of daily living is often difficult, frustrating, and time-consuming. Add in the fear and anxiety of getting sick with a global virus and it can take an emotional and physical toll on those who are already suffering.

Since the coronavirus was declared a pandemic, Parkinson Place quickly transitioned to make it possible to have all of its programming available online. Through technology, Parkinson Place successfully transitioned all programming to online platforms including Zoom and ParkinsonPlace.org.

Parkinson Place continues to reach people throughout the U.S. and beyond.

Parkinson Place offers more than 65 FREE, virtual monthly classes, programs, and webinars.
