$6,000 goal

In its 15th year, HopeFest is Austin's largest community-based resource fair, with 4,000 attendees and 170 exhibitors annually at Northeast (formerly Reagan) Early College High School. Sponsored by Austin Voices and other community partners, HopeFest is a day of celebration and support, with live music, free food, and connections to health, housing, employment and more. It also celebrates local schools in northeast Austin, with demonstrations and performances by students. This year's event, due to the pandemic, is drive-through at Nelson Field (across from Northeast ECHS), with key services to help families, including COVID testing (in partnership with Austin Public Health), flu shots, rent and utility assistance, free food (in partnership with Central Texas Food Bank) and more, including free books for children, a drive-through zoo and craft kits. We have raised $6,000 already and need $6,000 more to complete our budget for this year's event. 100% of funds raised provides needed services for families. We are expecting 1,500 to 2,000 families to attend this year's event. Volunteers are also needed. More information about being an exhibitor or volunteer at HopeFest is at www.austinvoices.org.
