Camp HOPE Central Georgia is the state of Georgia's only affiliate of the nationally acclaimed Camp HOPE America program. Camp HOPE serves kids in 1st through 8th grades in our region who have been exposed to or affected by domestic violence, sexual abuse, or child abuse.
Participants are supported through hope-centered year round activities led by trained Hope Coaches and have the opportunity to attend a 5 night summer camp each July. All programs are FREE to kids and families!
The cost to sponsor a child for summer camp is $400. Last year, 28 kids went to the inaugural Camp HOPE Central Georgia. This year, our camper spots have doubled to 56! Kids participate in incredible summer camp activities like kayaking, rock climbing, and arts and crafts at our beautiful camp partner Camp Twin Lakes. Additionally, kids learn about hope- the idea that their future can be brighter than their past and that they have the willpower and waypower to make that happen.
