Our Immigrant Friends are Hungry
To address the present food crisis in our region's immigrant community, we have launched The Garces Family Food Pantry. This new program provides an immigrant family with a box of fresh food, enough to last a week. Every day of every week, an immigrant worker and their family have healthy food and basic supplies.
The Patricia Kind Family Foundation generously provided us with $15,000 in seed money to launch the program. The Hess Foundation has donated $35,000 and the Mary and Alfred Douty Foundation has contributed $5,000. We have also received generous support from Albertson's, Giant, and others. And you, our donors, have stepped up.
