Welcome!

We're First Tech Fund.

Right now, we're in the middle of year 2 of our Fellowship! Our students who are part of our program received a laptop, a wifi hotspot, and they were each paired with a mentor who helped them with school and otherwise. In year 1, we saw students get accepted into schools like Columbia, NYU, Hunter College, Cornell, and more. This year, we have 85 students who hail from all 5 boroughs and have been participating in our program since September.

In the last two years, we had 1000+ applications for roughly 135 spots. We hope that you will consider giving a tax-deductible donation to First Tech Fund so that we can have the opportunity to change the trajectory of the lives of even more students and offer them a window into what their future can be. Our hope is to deepen our services to provide even more support, while also growing to 100 spots next year. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out as we’d be more than happy to talk further about our mission and vision or anything else you’re curious about.

Will you help us reach more students this fall?

For donations over $500, please contact josue@firsttechfund.com directly unless you've previously been in touch. Thank you for your consideration and support!

First Tech Fund is dedicated to closing the digital divide by providing low-income and underserved communities with access to technology that allows them to pursue educational, personal development, and career opportunities. With the shift to online learning and remote work, FTF is committed to preparing students for the workforce of tomorrow. Through our program, our FTF Fellows will learn from industry leaders, young professionals, and business owners about what it takes to pursue a career in their respective fields while beginning to build their networks.
