On St. Patrick's Day, 2009 Trenton was born with a congenital heart defect. He had open heart surgery at 11 weeks old. For the past 12 years, Mended Little Hearts has been a source of support and education for us. I can't imagine not having them in my life and I'm so grateful for the work they do every day to support the littlest heart patients of all.
