Jerry Doliner Food Bank Annual Appeal 2025

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR ONGOING EFFORTS TO ADDRESS FOOD INSECURITY THROUGH OUR DOLINER FOOD BANK: 

The food bank provides staples such as cereals, peanut butter, pasta, various canned goods, meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, and other items on availability.  The amount of food is customized to the size of the family and is enough for approximately a week and a half.  

During the holiday season, we work hard to provide hundreds of local families in need with all the food necessary to celebrate Thanksgiving, and the winter and spring holidays.

Now, with the highest inflation rate in decades, we are seeing not only an increase in the number of families seeking food assistance, which is not surprising as we are seeing a huge increase in requests for help with utility and rental assistance; if they cannot afford to pay their bills, they certainly will need help paying for food.  Many of these people have never had to ask for help before and are so appreciative for the support. 

To continue helping the less fortunate, we need the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout the year.  100% of donated funds are used to purchase food and the Jewish Federation pays all administrative costs.

All donations are tax-deductible as The Jerry Doliner Food Bank falls under the auspices of the Jewish Federation of Volusia & Flagler Counties, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
