Project Dream: By opening a diverse health, wellness, and blood donation center on Martin Luther King Drive in Milwaukee, Versiti will:
- increase organs available for transplant within communities of color
- increase the supply of blood to treat sickle cell patients, which are predominately African American;
- provide employment opportunities within disadvantaged geographies through hiring from within the local community; and
- create access to health care and health care literacy through education and advocacy.
