Backpacks for Schools 2024

Over the last 28 years we have been able to provide over 160,000 locally disadvantaged students with much-needed school supplies.  Donations allow us year after year to provide up to 9,000 backpacks filled with age-appropriate student school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school students.   With your help we can make it happen for the 29th year.

Don’t forget!

• The Jewish Federation is a 501©(3) non-profit organization so your contribution is fully tax-deductible.  100% of the funds donated are used to purchase school supplies.
• We include a card in each backpack stating that, along with the Jewish Federation, many individuals, businesses, religious institutions, and organizations contributed to this project because they care. Names of businesses are listed in three categories Gold donations over $1,000, Silver donations between $250 to $500, and bronze up to $250.   Individual givers can be included if desired.

Your continued support is vital and very much appreciated.  We have enclosed examples of many letters we received from counselors, schools, parents and of course, the children.
