I have the privilege of sitting on the board of directors for The Priority Center here in Orange County and I'm committed to raising money through my network to contribute to the incredible work this organization does for our community. In short, The Priority Center is Orange County's largest non-profit focused on preventing child abuse.
Although we do receive public funding it is not enough to fully support the programs and staff, which includes over 100 employees and hundreds more volunteers. To make up the shortfall between public funding and its operating budget, the Center engages in fundraising activities like this one! With Covid 19 severely impacting the ability for normal fundraising activities, we are trying to raise money for the Priority Center through individual “Micro Fundraisers”.
Ambitiously, my colleague Jeff Shepard and I are each committed to doing 12,000 pushups in the next 60 days. We are calling this Pushup Party for The Priority Center… Almost like a new version of the PPP, but without the paperwork. We each are striving to raise $12,000 or more for The Priority Center for this effort. It would mean the world to me if you would consider supporting me and the organization. We make it as easy as possible, so if you're interested all you have to do is click on the following link to donate to this worthwhile charity. Below is some more information on the great work that The Priority Center does for our community, so if you're at all interested I encourage you to take a look and ask any questions you might have. Thank you!
As I mentioned, The Priority Center is Orange County's largest nonprofit dedicated primarily to the prevention of child abuse. TPC provides outreach, prevention, and intervention services to vulnerable families in our community. The center’s goal is to support families in crisis in order to foster resilience and end the generational cycle of trauma. Each year, TPC serves over 5,700 underserved children and their families. TPC also meets the needs of the community at large by organizing outreach and educational events that reach over 23,000 children and families annually.
I Invite you to join the fight against child abuse, thank you!
