Faithful Love is a faith-based nonprofit organization in the Golden Isles that has been supporting adult survivors of sex trafficking in the community since 2017. Their mission is to bring healing and restoration to women who are victims or at risk of sexual exploitation and their addictions. After years of prayer and guidance from The Lord, Faithful Love's board and staff decided to move forward with a plan to build a crisis residential safe home specifically for female adult survivors of sex trafficking in Southeast Georgia.
Ruth’s Home will be the only 30-day crisis residential safe home for adult sex trafficking survivors in the Southeast region of Georgia. It will be the first of three steps to restoration for survivors with a plan to build steps two and three on to the program in the future. The fundamental goal of Ruth’s Home is to help place women in a long-term program specifically geared towards trauma-informed care and recovery. During the 30-day stay at Ruth’s Home, the women will have a safe environment where they are able to heal, reflect, and receive counseling before moving on to a long-term and transitional living program. Faithful Love is partnering with anti-sex trafficking ministries Out of Darkness and House of Cherith in Atlanta, Georgia for the long-term steps.
