Support Survivors of Sex Trafficking!

In the Fall of 2018, we began our jewelry ministry called Faithful Gems. Together with our volunteer case manager and mental health/addictions counselor, we partnered with Sharon Roberts, founder of Gracefull Goods. Through this partnership, we created a job skills program where the survivors of sex trafficking that visit our ministry home are taught how to create handmade and meaningful pieces in exchange for a livable wage.  We invite the women that come to our ministry house to make the jewelry each week which has provided an opportunity for them to share stories in a group therapy setting to work through their trauma and build community together. 

This year, we have participated in 4 church conferences and are taking part in Downtown Brunswick's First Friday starting in September 2019 with an information table and jewelry sales. We are working on getting our pieces into local stores in the Golden Isles as well as setting up an Etsy Shop. Partner with us in our Faithful Gems program and you will be providing supplies and livable wages for survivors but most importantly you will be making a lasting impact on survivors of sex trafficking.
