West Palm Beach Library Foundation, Inc

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is independent from the City of West Palm Beach, was formed to support the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach. The Foundation's mission is to raise funds for the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach to provide free quality programs, services and resources that enrich and strengthen our diverse community,  The Library serves more than 760,000 people from all walks of life annually. From the homeless to the wealthy our Studio 411 classes in the past have served thousand of people each year with hands on learning, art classes and lectures. 

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation is asking for you support to extend  the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach's  current outreach program, Grab & Go Arts & Crafts kits. These creative kits come prepared with everything a person would need in order to participate in an at-home art class. This includes both materials and an instructional video to go along with the prepared class. With your help, we hope to bring a new kit each month for 2021, ranging from a wreath making kit to an acrylic pouring wall art kit to a polymer clay earring kit.

It is our hope that we can continue this outreach service to our community with the help of this grant. Your donation would allow us to create a unique monthly grab and go kit for 40 patrons per month for the year of 2021. Grab and Go Kits would include all supplies needed to perform the craft, excepting the occasional dab of glue, and an instructional video to go along with the kit.
