ReNew Recovery Cafe, an emerging cafe with the Recovery Cafe Network (www.recoverycafenetwork.org) is a welcoming, handicap-accessible, community center for persons struggling with addiction, homelessness and mental illness. Here persons can rest and relax, be fed, seek resources from a computer lab, charge their cell phone, learn life skills, and participate in yoga and other wellness activities. In the community environment, persons will be known by their name, and will be provided opportunities to contribute to the community of the Recovery Cafe. All guests are encouraged to become Members of the Cafe, which provide many opportunities for them to give back and contribute to its operation.
