 Prosperity Ministries, Inc formed over 24 years ago for the purpose of meeting the needs of the community.  It debunks the myth that prosperous living only meant money.  Through it many efforts of outreach the building up of the community combats a lot of the issues it faces.  Therefore allowing it to not just survive, but thrive.

 The Leader has used her personal story of overcoming financial ills to fuel her efforts of equipping others.  She couples her tenure of Corporate and Community leadership roles to further this cause.  She is passionate about people and leads the community in caring for itself, giving back and paying it forward.

A Community Thrives when its residents are trained and equipped to meet life wherever it finds them physically, socially, economically and spiritually.  It's service offerings is from a wholistic perspective having extreme value for people; engaging the community in a each one teach one effort.

 It is not a mission of handout but a hand-up.    It helps individuals to determine options, set goals and thereby reach them.  

For 24 years now, this Community Outreach Group Trains, Counsel, Coaches and  equips as it empowers.  

Crafted personalized sessions are used as it develops leaders, personally and professionally.

Single parents have been assisted with parenting skills, meals, transportation and their children with educational needs.

Shelter has been provided for those who find themselves homeless; Senior citizens are supported with not only words of encouragements and prayers but with essential Homecare services who otherwise would not have access.

Youth have been given a platform to use their voice, skill and talents; and therefore build esteem, value and self worth.  Many have become speakers, singers, instrumentalist and honor students.  Graduations are supported financially and physically.  College assistance with book monies, etc. The youth have been mentored.  This is youth empowerment.

Have provided training within the Department of Corrections for the combating recidivism.  Effective Strategies For Successful Reentry and Get and Stay Out Awards presented annually presented to those returning back to society and stay of out of prisons.  Most who venture out to crime, has unresolved inner conflicts and this missions type of training Gets to CORE to find the CURE.  

Many homes have been saved from foreclosure with our assistance.  Financial literacy and computer literacy is a part of empowerment training.  Needs are met with the expectations that recipients will take advantage of our training to overcome these type of circumstances.  Home purchasing counseling has been provided and participants have gone on to purchase homes.

Job/Career readiness sessions have been hosted and many received jobs and discovered their unique skillset and found careers.  

Community Health & Fitness support groups have been hosted for healthy eating and movement for the 55 Plus.  Many have adopted healthy lifestyle changes.

As this mission of empowerment approaches 25 years, it is looking to do a technology upgrade for expansion in order make services available online and virtually accessed. Will you help us achieve this goal? Thank you in advance
