Preston County Youth Center Incorporated

The Preston County Youth Center strives to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment while focusing on empowering the youth and helping them build their futures.  

Since opening our doors, a little over a year ago, we have been able to start the following programming....

1. After School Program  We partnered with local churches to provide 5 days a week of after school care.  The Churches would rotate days and the children would be provided a meal, homework help and tutoring, an activity and play time.  
2. Parents Night Out The First Friday of each month Parents can drop their child off and a local church proves an evening of safe fun.  The get a meal, crafts and activities and physical activities and bible studies.  
3. Open Gym Each Monday Evening we open the gym to the community for open play.  They have been playing basketball, volleyball, practicing cheerleading skills and twirling.
4. Summer Camp Each week throughout the summer we have been offering a weekly program with various themes.  We have had STEAM week, Music week, Robotics, gardening and more. The parents/children can choose which programs they want to attend and we can offer working parents a place they can count on and trust when they need to work.  

In addition to these, we are always working on other activities for the children and the community.  We have had concerts, car shows, sports clinics, presentations and more. 

Our dream is to be able provide all the resources needed for our youth to thrive.  We would love to be able to provide our services on a donation basis so no family goes without.  Thank you all for your donations and continued support.
