Peace Learning Center

A nonprofit organization

Peace Learning Center (PLC) educates, inspires, and empowers people to live peacefully. An Indianapolis nonprofit with 15 staff, PLC has served 220,000 children and adults throughout our 22-year history. PLC programs center around the following themes:

  • Equity & Justice: PLC’s Equity programming has a focus on educating the public, especially those that are youth-serving, around the topics of Implicit Bias and Anti-Racism. Workshops and programming are available for adults and youth.
  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): PLC works to increase SEL skills of both youth and adults through interactive lessons and facilitated dialogue. This is achieved through in-class lessons, workshop, field trips, and professional development.
  • Restorative Justice: Trough PLC’s work around Restorative Justice we help organizations and schools switch from punitive discipline systems to restorative and relational systems.
