Who We Are

One Sky Community Services has been bringing valuable assistance, support, and guidance to those with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders for over 33 years. Covering 24 Seacoast communities, it offers a comprehensive array of support services and life-enhancing activities with one purpose in mind for each client: maximize their potential through their skills, strengths and interests; help gain optimal independence; integrate fully into their community; and live their life to the fullest and on their terms.
We work with infants, children, adults, and seniors through our different levels of service, which are focused and varied to accommodate those specific needs and requirements at each stage of life. One Sky facilitates planning, funding, and oversight with available community-based services to help clients expand their opportunities and meet their goals.
How can One Sky help you? If you or a member of your family requires the kind of assistance we provide, we can help answer all your questions. It is overwhelming for families when they first receive the diagnosis and learning new systems at each stage of development; early support services, dealing with school systems and transitioning out of schools, and all adult services including Medicare, Medicaid, and seeking employment. One Sky will help you navigate the myriad of questions, concerns, and choices.
There are endless possibilities at One Sky. Our services are designed to improve the quality of life for the entire family as well, maintaining a family’s right to identify its own needs and to direct the supports that are provided. For the adult with developmental disabilities, our comprehensive day and residential services are individually tailored to each client’s situation, goals and aspirations, and personal needs. Most of these services are provided through One Sky and the numerous partnering agencies it works with throughout the Seacoast.
