Operation Restoration

Operation Restoration's mission is simple, yet profound: to support women and girls impacted by incarceration as they recognize their full potential, restore their lives, and discover new possibilities.

Operation Restoration (OR) is more than an organization. OR is a community that believes in the power of second chances, the strength of resilience, and the promise of brighter tomorrows. OR's ultimate goal is to end the incarceration of women and girls, which is why, since our inception in 2016, we have made it our commitment to serve as many people as possible. OR is embarking on an ambitious plan for growth. Year after year, we have reached more and more women and girls, whether it be through clothing, transportation, housing, education, employment, or any other critical need or service that assists in successfully rebuilding their lives. Now, nine years later, our needs have become greater than our resources.

The greatest barrier standing in our way of meeting the needs of those we continue to serve is the lack of a permanent facility for our social services and education programs.

We now own property in the 7th Ward, a central location that is easily accessible to our clients. But our vision to turn this space into a lifelong home for our community can only be turned into a reality with your support.

We are now turning to our community members and partners.
