Help Support Mental Healthcare Access in Kentucky: 

We believe access to quality mental healthcare services should be available for all but accessing mental healthcare services can be challenging and financial barriers can stop many from obtaining high-quality mental healthcare services. Called to action by our awareness of these financial barriers to mental healthcare, and building upon the Kentucky Psychological Foundations' mission to promote healthy and meaningful lives, we have created The Community Mental Health Fund (CMHF). The CMHF was designed by KPF utilizing our expertise, community relationships, and network of psychologists across Kentucky to directly address and alleviate existing financial barriers to mental health care through direct cash support qualifying Kentucky residents can use to pay for mental healthcare services. 

The Community Mental Health Fund is a financial assistance program designed to provide direct financial assistance to help qualifying Kentuckians pay for quality mental health care services from a licensed mental health professional. CMHF will pay a portion of the costs for qualifying Kentuckians associated with mental healthcare services provided by a licensed mental health professional– these costs may be things like copays, self-pay costs for a provider that falls out of the recipient’s health insurance network, or does not accept insurance, and other qualifying expenses. Recipients will receive a cash amount from the CMHF they will use to pay their licensed mental health professional directly. KPF will leverage our organizational and project management expertise to ensure project success.

Reaching our goal puts us into the running to be considered for a larger grant! Every dollar makes a difference and your donation directly supports someone's ability to access care. 

•Help us spread the word and expand our reach by sharing and promoting our fundraising page with your friends, family, and fellow community members! The more we are able to raise, the more people we can help access care.
