OUR MISSION:
Glass Soldier is a duty-bound and data-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of Sexual Assault in the Military.
We are challenging the powers that be and building solutions that make a positive impact for survivors. Seeking to reform a broken system to ensure all survivors and service members are provided a safe, respectful work environment and have access to a fair, impartially administered system of justice.
We will end the epidemic of rape and sexual trauma in the armed forces and combat a culture of pervasive misogyny, sexual harassment, and retribution against victims.

OUR PROGRAMS:

GS21 - We are developing a third-party application that would allow service members and veterans a way to report sexual assault and harassment incidents that can help remove the fear of reprisal. This application will give reporters the power to choose their level of privacy in reporting, give them a list of resources, and contribute to population-level data that can help inform policies and programs.

GS RESEARCH PROGRAM - Our research program is dedicated to collecting, analyzing, and sharing data to inform and improve military programs and policies that help prevent sexual assault and lead to justice for survivors.

GS INFORMATION CENTER - Our most impactful goal is to build a community that supports veterans, service members, and their families. We are currently running programs, such as Duty-Bound (a podcast) and Mission-Driven (a roundtable), that serve as platforms for community leaders, activists, veterans, and service members to use their voices and stories to drive change. We also host local events in the Austin, Tx area to raise awareness and bring people together!
