Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve achieved an incredible victory in protecting Florida’s public lands, including halting a proposal to open nine state parks, including Oleta, to development. The proposal has been sent "back to the drawing board" and the possibility of renewed threats loom in the year ahead.

Since 1936, the Florida Wildlife Federation has been a leader in protecting Florida’s species and unique ecosystems. • Secured protections for iconic species like the Florida Panther and Goliath Grouper.
• Passed constitutional amendments to ban oil drilling in state waters and fund land conservation.
