Eva's Village

Eva's Community Kitchen serves an average of 800 meals daily, 5 days a week, including meals for those who reside in Eva's Village homeless shelters and halfway houses, with a small kitchen staff and an army of dedicated volunteers. 

Our team not only serves meals but engages with guests to try and understand the root causes of their needs, whether it is due to unemployment, homelessness, substance use disorders, or mental health challenges. Through these conversations, Eva's staff and volunteers guide guests toward programs that help empower them to lead healthy, independent, financially secure lives. We serve more than 400,000 nutritious, freshly-prepared meals annually. 

Eva's Kitchen was founded in 1982 to help feed the hungry. The first meal consisted of hot dogs and beans served to 30 hungry guests. Today, the Community Kitchen at Eva's Village serves more than 400,000 nutritious meals annually.
