Critically Loved

Critically Loved exists to provide hope and guidance to families of critically and chronically ill children. A large part of what we do is to provide community for families walking a difficult road.  We do this through our group support (offered both in person and via zoom) and at events to connect families to one another. 

Founded by our Executive Director, whose own daughter has been diagnosed with a life threatening condition, Critically Loved knows first hand the challenges these families face. So for additional support, Critically Loved is helping cover the cost of professional counseling for special needs children, their siblings and parents.  Since a child's serious medical condition affects the entire family, we see this as vital work to help families stay together and thrive. 

 As a nonprofit, Critically Loved provides support to families of chronically and critically ill children: 

PRACTICALLY- With guidance relating to school, medical bills, and health insurance 

EMOTIONALLY - With professional counseling and events where families can connect with one another for organic support 

SPIRITUALLY - By offering group support at local churches around the community (held in person and via Zoom) 

Additional focuses on programming including CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION for special needs children and INCLUSION EDUCATION for typical children to appreciate different abilities of their special needs peers.  By partnering with 59 pediatric health providers and other nonprofits, Critically Loved helps families navigate a difficult road. Since most families we serve are already overwhelmed with medical bills, we never charge  for our services.  We rely 100% on donations to exist.  Please join us in making a difference in the lives of chronically and critically ill children in our community!
