A visit to the Children’s Museum isn’t just fun (although it definitely is that!). It’s an opportunity for the whole family to play and learn together. Our mission is simple yet impactful, we inspire growth in all children by engaging families in learning through play.

From fundamental concepts to socialization skills, language development, and much more, research shows that play has a positive impact on a child’s academic performance. To put it another way, when children play ahead, they get ahead!

The Children’s Museum is dedicated to supporting and enhancing learning through play. We recognize that 90% of brain development occurs in the first five years and that we can play a pivotal role during this critical time by ensuring our programs are built on a strong educational framework. Our framework explicitly informs/guides caregivers to deepen the impact on young children beyond the museum experience.
