BHI is a one-stop shop for homeless people in the Butler County community.  The BHI Shelter is staffed with experienced individuals dedicated to meeting the specific needs of people suffering from homelessness.  Any person or family asserting to be homeless will be greeted by a friendly staff member or volunteer and offered a hot meal, grocery items, toiletries, and/or replacement clothing.  A laundry facility is available for their use once weekly.  A local stylist offers free haircuts once monthly.  Shower vouchers courtesy of the local YMCA are available.  The Staff assist people with replacing lost ID's, applying for employment and housing assistance, contacting VA when applicable, making appointments with health and mental health providers, finding help with addiction treatment.  The BHI Staff and Board of Directors pride themselves in treating every individual with respect and dignity during this difficult time in their lives.
