There is a dangerous--and even deadly--misconception that breast cancer doesn’t occur among young women.

In Missouri, the state's Show Me Healthy Women program covers the costs of diagnostic mammograms, biopsies and ultrasounds for women without health insurance.

But there's a catch--this program only serves women 35 and older.

BCFO is closing that unnecessary age gap.

BCFO officially launched U-35 -- a program to cover the costs of diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds and biopsies for those under 35 -- in April, at our signature fashion show celebrating survivorship, A Time to Share.

16 of our breast cancer survivor models at A Time to Share 2022 were diagnosed with breast cancer when they were under 35.

Since launch of U-35, BCFO has already helped 19 clients get the important testing they need to determine whether or not they have breast cancer.

But we can't stop there.

We hope you will consider helping BCFO raise money to support these important efforts to ensure that no one, including some of the most vulnerable in our community, goes without needed resources for breast cancer detection, care and survivorship.
