Bottom Line is changing the lives of first generation college students from low-income backgrounds by helping them build a better future through college acceptance, college graduation and career-readiness.  Our goal is for our students to get in, graduate and go far.

Our results are best-in-class – and backed by independent evaluations.  

1. 76% of Bottom Line students have graduated in 6 years or less, more than double the rate of low-income students nationwide and comparable to their wealthier peers.  
2. 79% of our most recent graduates had a career-relevant position or were enrolled in graduate school within six months of earning their degree, about 25% higher than the national average for students across all income levels.

About Bottom Line:  Bottom Line was founded in 1997 to help low-income and first-generation students get into college, graduate from college, and go far in life. We achieve this mission by providing one-on-one, in-person guidance from college applications until college graduation. Once a small organization serving 25 high school seniors in Boston, Bottom Line has grown into a multi-state support network for over 8,000 students in Massachusetts, New York City and Chicago.
