This idea came to me a while back to help the many women, young mothers in need in our community to have a better start with their newborn. Not everyone can afford to have a baby-shower and many times the items received are not what a mother really needs.  Just the cost of a package of diapers is sky high and there really is no program out there to help the many in need. Children in our own communities are in need of help and this program is a positive start to the mother and will help in bringing up a bright new star into this world and depending in what area one is born the task of raising a child is even harder.

 Impact in our community is to give everyone an equal start in life. A newborn baby is should have the bare basics and mothers who struggle need the extra help and access to information to overcome the first year, so many do not know what to do, how to do it, what they need or just do not have the means.
