Lexington Housing Community Development Corp

Lexington Housing Community Development Corporation has made a positive impact on affordable housing by adapting to changing economic obstacles and partnering with entities such as (but not limited to) governmental agencies, non-profits organizations, grant sources, schools, churches, youth groups, businesses and individuals to accomplish its mission.  The organization has added over two-million dollars to the tax base for Lexington and facilitated over a quarter million dollars towards repairs and down payment assistance investments in Davidson County.

The organization continues to research and implement best practices.  We serve as a leading statewide source for affordable housing development.  We promote advocacy by way of facilitating presentations throughout the state of North Carolina, sharing our successful techniques in volunteer utilization for our repair programs as well as the way our collaborations throughout our area assist in providing affordable housing (Professional Housing Redevelopment of NC), and implement Layering of Funds & Collaborative Initiatives for Affordable Housing Programs (UNC School of Government Community Development Institute).
