Jacarrie Kicks for Kids

Jacarrie’s Kicks for Kids Inc.(JKFK) emerged from humble beginnings as an all-volunteer organization that provided shoes to low income youth to a full non-profit corporation that works with central city youth from elementary through high school graduation offer- ing numerous programs and services. Year after year, JKFK continued to add programs and services to meet the needs and interests of the youth served. First tutoring, then mentoring, then after school and weekend enrichment programs, college scholarship opportunities, and finally an all-day summer program. As the program grew, so did the group of volunteers, funders, and dedicated professional staff making it all possible.

Jacarrie Carr is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jacarrie’s Kicks For Kids Inc. He is a native of Milwaukee, WI growing up on the city’s north side. He graduated from Emmaus Lutheran high school in Milwaukee, WI. He holds a bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s Degree in Cultural Foundations Of Education And Community Leadership from the University Of Wisconsin Milwaukee, graduating in May, 2018. In 2013, he founded Jacarrie’s Kicks For Kids.

At the core of JKFK is our log-term commitment to the youth we serve. Through the fostering of authentic and enduring relationships, we guide each participant from adolescence to adulthood, ensuring they have the tools and skills necessary to they reach their full potential.

What will never change is our long-term commitment to those we serve. Youth join our program at a pivotal age, and we commit to them from adolescence through adulthood, empowering them to become leaders in their family, community, and career.
