Becoming an adult in foster care can leave a young person with trauma and unhealthy relationships that lead to higher rates of poverty, homelessness, incarceration, human trafficking and unemployment. 

In Arizona, 900 children turn 18 and age-out of the foster care system each year. 

Over 50% of those 900 will become homeless within two years.

20% will be involved in the criminal justice system by age 19.

1 in 4 will experience PTSD and are almost twice as likely to suffer from PTSD as U.S. war veterans.

Less than 3% will earn a college degree.

This is why Foster360 works every day to break the cycle of adversity faced by youth aging-out of foster care. 

Through our Personal Navigation System, youth aging-out of foster care and facing homeless are matched with a mentor to connect them with mental health counseling services, employment training and placement opportunities, and more to begin building the skills of a healthy and confident adult.

In December of 2020, Foster360 opened the Culver Campus in Phoenix. The Culver Campus is an intensive personal development program and transitional housing program currently home to 8 youth who would have otherwise been homeless. Foster360 is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and adversity for youth aging out of foster care by providing holistic wraparound services and empowering them with the necessary tools, education, and mindset to succeed while experiencing safe housing in trauma-informed, community-centric, and compassionate environment.

With your help, we hope to open a second location in Mesa capable of housing an additional 10 homeless foster youth.
