$50,000 Goal

Gainesville For All was formed in 2016, in partnership of Gannett’s Gainesville Sun and the Community Foundation of North Central Florida, to address racial and economic inequities that hurt people and hinder our community from achieving its best potential.

Mark your calendars for Giving Tuesday on November 28th to support us on this National Day of Giving! Gainesville for All is nonprofit that fights for racial equity and community change. We are proud of the efforts we have made as a team to bring systemic-level change to the Gainesville Community.

Help us raise $50,000 to support the newly opened Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center!

Our Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center provides quality early learning for children six weeks to four years old. The GEZFLC is located at Metcalfe Elementary School and is jointly sponsored by Alachua County Public Schools. The Center seeks to transform public education by meeting the needs of struggling local families, providing the opportunity for all children and their families to thrive no matter their race or socioeconomic status. Quality early learning programs have for too long been largely the province of the private sector, resulting in limited access to socially and economically challenged families who cannot afford the usual high costs associated with such programs. The Center also equips parents with skills and resources to support their children! All of this is provided to families for a nominal fee to them. Your Giving Tuesday donation will help impact families in our community!
