IMAGINE A CITY WHERE NO ONE SLEEPS OUTSIDE!

Eden Village of Wilmington (EVOW) is a privately funded 32-unit tiny home community in Wilmington, NC designed for the chronically homeless and disabled. This pedestrian-only, gated, protected, and permanent housing option will select folks that have been living on the streets for over one year in the Wilmington area and that have a documented mental or physical disability.  Residents will pay $300 per month including utilities for as long as they would like to stay and follow the community rules of clean and sober living.

The development is located next to the future Salvation Army center near Martin Luther King Boulevard and will offer professional supportive care for all residents.  EVOW also assigns residents a Home Team consisting of 4-6 people from the local community promising to meet monthly, offering support and assistance to reacclimatize to the community.

Eden Village of Wilmington is based upon the successful partnership with Eden Village and the Gathering Tree which was founded in Springfield, Missouri in 2010.  The founders of EVOW have close ties to Springfield and bring medical and financial expertise together to develop this proven option for the Wilmington homeless community.

Each 400 square foot modular home can be sponsored for $40,000 but we welcome donations of any size.  You can donate on this site or sign up to help at edenvillagewilmington.org.
