Homicide and crime are rising higher every day, another COVID-19 variant is growing and mental health constantly adding more pressure on an already struggling community. Youth depression and suicide continues to soar, if not us then who? Mason Temple continues to be an advocate for the community. Always looking for partners that are willing to roll up their sleeves and help fight to save our community. Someone who is not afraid of investing into the future of others because they know in the long run the dividends will be great. Are you one of the generous, open-hearted people who are will to do whatever it takes to empower a struggle community?  If that is you, here is what we need your help in achieving. First, we need to raise $6,000 to qualify for a grant that will allow us to target youth in communities the at need assistance getting back on the right track. The grant we will get from the Community Thrives Program will allow us to work with their families to rebuild and strengthen them. While we are working with the families we will need to continue to raise money until we reach our $100,000 goal for our Hood for the Good of the Community Project. The $100,000 is to repair the hood in the kitchen and purchase a food truck so when the youth finish the program they will be taught work skills to keep them off the streets doing something positive and earning money.
